As the school year chugs along, many fourth graders say they’ve settled into their new school and have become more comfortable with their daily routines. Moving from Memorial School to Patrick M. Villano School brought many changes, including new teachers, larger classrooms, and more lunch options.
One of those fourth graders is Amelia Kahofer. Amelia shared that the transition to Emerson has been a positive experience.
“It’s pretty good. It’s better than Memorial. It’s bigger, and the teachers and students are nicer,” Kahofer added.
Another thing Kahofer enjoys about her new lunchroom is the lunch menu: “I like the snacks, and there are a lot more options.”
Fourth grader, Adrienne Benvenuto, also said she enjoys being at Villano School: “I like it better because I love the teachers and the classrooms,” Benvenuto said.
Like Kahofer, Benvenuto also appreciates the lunch choices at the school.
“I love all the different options and the snacks.”
