Valentine’s Day is usually a happy day at Patrick M. Villano School, and this year was no exception. Students enjoyoed their homeroom parties especially the treats and presents. Class parents planned ice cream socials in each room and served chocolate and vanilla flavors with syrup, sprinkes and whip cream.

“I loved the vanilla ice cream and the whip cream,” Sophia Beahm said.

Beahm, a fifth-grader, said she also loved playing Bingo. She won two times and got a prize each time.

Another fifth grader student, Joseph DiBono, also enjoyed Bingo and ice cream.

The holiday was celebrated across town at Memorial School, too. Anuoluwa Awosanya, a second grader, had fun in her homeroom party.

“I loved the ice cream, the gifts and the class moms, too,” she said. “I got ice cream, I got gifts from people, and I got to make a craft.”
