Back to the hoops

It’s the start of the season for students who play recreational basketball. Fifth-grader, Stefan Dib, says he feel really good about heading back to the court in Emerson.

“I feel like I will do well, and [my team will] be top three,” Dib said confidently.

Dib thinks more practice will develop his game.

”I hope to improve my shooting range and passing range,” Dib explained.

James Shammas, another fifth-grade student, also plays reacreational baseketball in Emerson.

“I think I will do better than last season because I had a bad team last season,” Shammas said. He plans to develop some skills through practice, as well.

“I think I will be better at dribbling,” Shammas explained.
