Diana Tamayo is a sixth grader at Patrick M. Villano School. Tamayo has two brothers, and she is the middle child. Tamayo plays soccer and softball. She’s also in the symphonic band and plays the alto saxophone. She takes music very seriously. She’s in the Villano News Network (VNN), too. Diana has always loved writing. She tries to write poems, stories and much more. She tries to write almost everyday. Diana also likes art, bike riding, or just hanging out with a few friends. Diana wants to be a doctor in the future. She thinks that writing will help her.  She is looking forward to going to the Junior-Senior High School in Emerson. She is sad it’s her last year here, but she promises she will have a memorable year, and she knows it.

The clarinet is also a woodwind instrument . Clarinets are popular among musicians in the school band.
