Fourth and fifth grade students at Patrick M. Villano School are discovering the joys of playing trumpet in band class. Ian Joy in fourth grade thinks the music is fun to play.
“I picked the trumpet because I thought it helped me with holding my breath longer, and it can make fun music so everybody can hear,” Joy said.
Fifth grader, Valentina Palladino, says she enjoys playing the trumpet in the school band.
“I wanted to do the trumpet because it seems that it is really fun, and the band sounded really nice, and I would like to do it with all my friends,” Palladino explained. “… and the trumpet was the easiest one to do, so I decided to choose it, and I absolutely love it.”
