Holiday shopping

Mugs for moms, frames for dads and toys for siblings – just a few of the items offered at this year’s Holiday Shoppe at Patrick M. Villano School.

“The holiday shop was amazing,” Debbie Paradis said. Paradis is a parent in the school district who volunteered her time ringing up students’ purchases. “It was wonderful watching the kids shop for their friends and family,” she added.

The Holiday Shoppe took place on December 7, 2023. It’s sponsored by the Elementary PTA. This annual shopping experience allows students to purchase small holiday items for family members. This year, the shoppe had a dollar store section where all items were from the local Dollar Store. Prices ranged from $1.00 to $2.50.

“I like the Holiday Shop because there was more stuff this year, and I recommend next time we have more stuff for brothers and sisters,” Jordan Shaw said.

Shaw, a sixth-grader, shopped with friend, Penny Stolfe.

“The Holiday Shop was fun. We had less time to shop than expected, but I think it was cool to see all the gift options,” Stolfe said.
