Retro Bowl is becoming popular among students at Patrick M. Villano School. It’s a football video game. New Star Games is the video game company that created Retro Bowl. It’s called retro because it has old fashioned graphics.

“One thing I like about the game is that feeling you get when you pass the ball and get a touchdown,” Riley Torres said.

The fifth-grader plays Retro Bowl with his friends. It’s available on a computer or mobile device like a phone or tablet. People draft and manage a football team. Torres has a tip for those just starting out.

“Run more with the QB, and pass to the wide receivers,” Torres advised.

“I like the organization.” Tyler Trass said. The fifth-grader also plays Retro Bowl, and he has this advice.

“Don’t throw it [the ball] into coverage. Don’t let it be intercepted,” Trass said.

Ethan Granados, a fourth-grade student, explains what he enjoys: “The players and how you can move the players and how you can draft players fast.”
