Sierra Tofts, Reporter
Sierra Tofts is a fifth grade student at Patrick M. Villano School and loves to write. She has grown up enjoying reading about new things, and she likes to ask a lot of questions. When Sierra was in fourth grade, she wrote a poem that was published in book. The book contains a bunch of great poems written by others students. Her parents love that she is always a hard worker. If there’s something that Tofts wants to know, she will print articles and research a lot of information on the topic. At that point, Tofts will be able to tell you everything she knows which could take an hour of your day. Tofts is interested in baking, interior designing, marketing, journalism, and animals. She reads The Wall Street Journal every day to learn more about the world. Also, she has won awards for sports including soccer, softball, and diving. In her first year of diving, Tofts was awarded the title of Most Improved Diver. Last year, Sierra and her travel softball team won first place in the Ridgewood tournament. Tofts plans to follow her goals and dreams, and she will continue to grow her reading and writing skills through The Villano View.
