Spring has officially sprung, and some people are rushing to vacation locations. Lis Hill, a sixth-grade teacher at Patrick M. Villano School, shared her destination.
“My mom and I are going to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, for a few days for spring break,” Hill said.
According to the website for the American Auto Association (AAA), people are often enthusiastic to head someone warm.
” … however, there’s nothing quite like a New Jersey beach adventure. With beaches such as the iconic Jersey Shore, this state offers experiences that truly rank among the U.S.’ best beaches,” stated the website.
Mikey Sunga, a sixth grader, is also heading somewhere sandy. His said he can’t wait to take off for Aruba with his family.
“I’m looking forward to the beach, and if there are any boardwalks, I’m also looking forward to those, too,” Sunga said.
In the Emerson Public School district, spring break is the week of April 13 through April 17. Classes resume on Monday, April 20, 2026.
