The O. Show is a unique part of Patrick M. Villano School.
“I LOVE the O. Show. The O. Show is an incredible opportunity for the school to come together and grow as a community,” Joseph Gibbs, the band instructor said.
The O. Show is named after a former principal, Barnet Ostrowsky, who is now retired. It’s a short talent show that’s still popular today.
“I think it makes Villano a very unique and special school as no other schools have a monthly talent show,” Gibbs added. Gibbs also helps organize the show.
“I chose to be in the O. Show because I thought it was a great opportunity,” Nicholas DeCarlo said. He was one of the performers at the first show of this school year on September 25. The fifth-grader made a video of building a Ford car from Legos.
“It makes me happy to see people go on stage. They’re brave to perform in front of so many people,” Anna Booth said. The fifth-grader was one of the audience members who watched the show.
