What do you want to be when you grow up? The sixth graders at Patrick M. Villano School answered that question with a special career project.

“I think it was very cool to learn about different careers,” Josheau Feingold said. “It gave me a good sense of what I want to do in the future.”

Each sixth grader chose a possible future profession to research. They took notes and cited information in the process. They also learned about different careers from volunteers who visited the school and talked about their work.

“Overall, the career day was fun! I am glad we got to do career day this year,” Sacha Salvador said.

Students presented their research with a poster in the all purpose room. Friends and family were invited to listen to the students’ presentations. Many students dressed the part, too.

“Career day and the work that was put into all of it was very hard work and took a lot of perseverance but was worth it. The poster was very fun to make,” Feingold said.
