Imagine yourself in a massive stadium cheering on your favorite football team during the thrilling Super Bowl game. Your heart is racing as the opposing team scores, but then your team makes an incredible comeback and scores the winning touchdown, sending the crowd into a frenzy of excitement and joy. The energy is electric, and you can feel the adrenaline pumping through your veins as you celebrate your team’s epic victory with thousands of other passionate fans.

This is what many Kansas City Chiefs fans, such as Stefan Dib, felt as the team won Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers in overtime. It’s the second year in a row that the Chiefs took the title.

“I wanted the Chiefs to win,” Stefan Dib said.

Before the game, some students at Patrick M. Villano School predicted the game’s outcome.

“I think the score will be 24-28 Chiefs,” Ryan Izzo, a fifth-grader, guessed.

Izzo was close. The final score was 25-22 Chiefs. The Chiefs starting quarterback is Patrick Mahomes.

“The 28-year-old Mahomes becomes the fourth starting QB to win three Super Bowls — joining Brady, Joe Montana, Terry Bradshaw and Troy Aikman — and second-youngest,” according to ESPN online.
