Students can send happy mail or take happy mail from this colorful box in the main hallway. The idea is to spread positive messages around Patrick M. Villano School.

There’s something new in the main hallway at Patrick M. Villano School. It’s a colorful “Happy Mail” mailbox. It’s a place to take or leave a happy message for someone in the school. The mailbox is located outside of school social worker Devan Zambito’s office.

“I think it’s really nice because if someone doesn’t feel very happy, they can take a note that might make them feel better,” third grader Mia Woodward said.

“I think it’s good. If someone isn’t having a good day and they need to get cheered up, they can take some happy mail, and it can make their day better,” third grader David Kim said.

The idea is to bring more happiness and positivity to the school.
