At a career high of 42,115 points on April 7, 2025, he has the most points ever in the National Basketball Association or NBA. He wears number 23 and plays basketball for the Los Angeles Lakers. If you don’t know who it is, it’s LeBron James

Ethan Lantigua, a fifth-grader at Patrick M. Villano School, loves basketball and LeBron James.

“LeBron is the greatest basketball player of all time, and he plays the game like he doesn’t care,”Lantigua said.  “He is so good at basketball because his height and jump helps him defend and on offense he blows through players’.”

James has a son named Bronny. Bronny plays for the Lakers in the G League which is the minor league of the NBA. One time, both Bronny and his dad played together on the official Lakers team. Bronny scored two points in that game. It was the first time ever in the NBA that a father and son took the court at the same time. Bronny has a total 21.9 points in the G League according to the G League website.

Reed Martire, another fifth-grader, also loves LeBron James.

“He is one of the best players in the sport. He is so good since he puts in hard work and dedication,” Martire said. “When he [LeBron]  retires, he is going to give his crown to Luka Doncic.”

Dodcic is another Lakers’ player.
