Francy’s Artisanal Ice Cream is a small little store that sells ice cream and other desserts. They are an Italian Filipino fusion that has lots of allergy free ice cream. They have one store in Bergenfield, New Jersey.
“The atmosphere was nice. It was very colorful,”Norah Smith, a sixth grader from Emerson, said. “I got milk and oreos … I would go again because the ice cream was good. I would vote for them to get toppings, though.”
Francy’s has 24 flavors, most of them being seasonal. They have many vegan ice cream flavors, and usually one will have alcohol that is cooked off.
“We make ice creams made out of premium ingredients from the best sources and fresh produce from the local suppliers. Our artisanal ice creams consist of future-forward flavors fused with classic favorites and crafted with the freshest ingredients and love topped on handmade cones. One of the brand’s purposes is to make our ice creams to be an avenue to slowly introduce, promote, and make nostalgic Filipino desserts known in the foreign land to pay homage to our roots,” states the store’s website.
Some customers say there is nowhere else like this in the area to get high quality, unusual ice cream flavors.
“The staff are quick and friendly and helpful and encourage you to taste as many flavors as you want before ordering so you’ll be happy with your purchase. The scoops are generous, and they even weigh the servings to make sure they’re giving enough,” one customer said.
The store address is 461 S. Washington Avenue is Bergenfield, New Jersey. Business hours are Monday to Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Fridays and Saturdays, the store is open from noon to 10 p.m., and on Sundays they are open from noon to 9 p.m.
