The 2025 soccer season kicked off recently. The sixth grade boys’ team had a successful fall season, finishing second overall. It was a tough season, and now the 12 players are looking forward to the spring.

“I see that the team has gotten better over the years with better footwork and teamwork,” James Shammas, a mid field player, said.

“We have improved a lot throughout the time I was here,” Nathan Daviou, the goalkeeper of the team, said.

Coach Dan Trass said he’s proud of the players.

”Our team has improved immensely over the last three years, even over the last three seasons,” Trass said.

Trass said the team’s first challenge is going to be the first game against Montclair.

“They are a very tough team,” Trass said. “We need to tighten up our team and make sure everybody’s on their game.”
