It’s spooky season. From ghosts and ghouls to hilarious laughs, students at Patrick M. Villano School are planning their Halloween costumes. Keria Rizzo, a fourth grader, has a unique idea.

“A baguette – bread basically – because I’m gonna be matching with my friend, and she’s gonna be a croissant,” Rizzo said. In general, Rizzo likes the idea of wearing a costume on Halloween. “They’re very cool and let you express yourself, but mostly, they’re super fun!”

Aneesa Mathew, a sixth grader, agrees about wearing costumes.

“It’s fun and you can dress up as your favorite characters,” Mathew said.

Mathew said her favorite costume was Wednesday Adams. This year, she plans to keep the theme scary by dressing as a vampire with her friend.

Demi Paradis, a fifth grader, plans to be Little Red Riding Hood this year.

“My all time favorite costume was probably the queen costume I wore two years ago,” Paradis said.
