Grace Uribe has been a fan of Walt Disney’s work for as long as she can remember.
“I think the main reason I am a Disney fan is because it reminds me of my childhood, but most importantly Disney allows me to be a kid and enjoy the magic as an adult through my own kids eyes,” Uribe said.
Uribe follows happenings at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, carefully and gives tips to vacationing families. Another fan of Disney is Jeanette Russ. She’s loved Mickey Mouse and his friends for more than 40 years.
“I am a Disney fan because Disney is about fun, family and adventure,” Russ said. “My family was always big Disney fans. We would watch the animated Disney movies together. Those are some very special memories. And now I watch those movies with my kids.”
Russ’s favorite Disney movie is Tangled.
“I love all the characters and the songs,” Russ explained.
Both Uribe and Russ follow Disney anniversaries each year. This March, the movie “The Love Bug,” celebrities it’s 55th anniversary according to the Walt Disney website. Also, 32 years ago the Walt Disney Studios in Paris opened to visitors, and 10 years ago Aladdin on Broadway in New York City lifted its curtain.
