NED is more than a name. It stands for Never give up, Encourage other and Do your best. The NED Show came to Patrick M. Villano School on January 18, 2024, with a special message about having a positive mindset.
“I learned that you should always believe in yourself and never give up,” Demi Paradis, a fourth grader student, said.
NED is the name of the silly puppet who starred in the show along with a human performer.
“My favorite part of the assembly was the funny jokes and super cool yo-yo tricks!” Lyla Cuhadaryan, a sixth-grade student, explained.
According to the website for The NED Show, yo-yos have been used for years in the character education show.
“This bit of old-fashioned fun helps us be entertaining and unforgettable in the mind of a child as we share how ‘NED’ learns to never give up, encourage others and do his best,” states the website.
The Emerson PTA sponsored the assembly.
