Thinking Back, Looking Ahead
June 5, 2020
Villano is not an ordinary school. It not only teaches students, but it shapes students into confident and kind kids. The staff makes me feel like I am part of a big Villano family. We all care for each other and spread happiness and kindness to our peers. They have given me a place to be myself and to not only learn but also express myself and find out who I am as a person.
One thing that will always stay with me is the great staff students and teachers. Every teacher I had believed in me. I don’t know what comes ahead in my future, but I know that everything Villano has taught me will help me in the world.
Villano is a place of happiness. It is a place where if one student is struggling, nobody hesitates to help them. Villano made me realize how lucky I was to be surrounded by great people every day. To me being a Villano student means standing up for anyone in need. It means we spread kindness to those around us, and it means that you are always willing to lend a helping hand. The biggest thing Villano has taught me was that I have the ability not only to reach my highest potential but to exceed it.” — Kylie Grompone

Although I never got to say a proper goodbye, I know that I will miss Villano and the staff, but one thing is for sure. Villano has prepared me for the Emerson Junior-Senior High School (EJSHS). In my third-grade year, I felt like sixth-grade graduation was so far away, and now I feel like it all went so fast, but I know that everything Villano gave will always be with me and will always be in my heart. I wish that I could personally thank every single staff member in Villano because even if they were not my teacher, they helped me learn and grow. This school is a great place, and if I had to describe Villano it would be the greatest, most fun, craziest adventures of my life that taught me so much. my adventure in Villano is over, a new one is just beginning at EJSHS. It is hard to be leaving Villano, but it will always be a part of me and a part of who I am because, without it, I would not have the confidence that I have. The biggest thing Villano has taught me was that I have the ability not only to reach my highest potential but to exceed it.
