Making the most of winter break

Many families send holiday cards as a way to spread cheer over the winter break.
Winter break – a special time of year for all students at Patrick M. Villano School. This year, school closed from December 20 to January 2. Some students said they went snowboarding while others skied. A few said they relaxed by a homemade fire.
Caden Healy, a fifth-grade student, said during winter break he opened presents with family on Christmas. He also went sledding and skiing. Ivan Jacob, another fifth-grade student, visited New York City over the winter break.
