Kate Cremonese is back after maternity leave. She is excited to meet all her new students.

Sixth-grade special education teacher Kate Cremonese is back in the classroom. Cremonese returned from maternity leave last month. Her new son, Dean, joins Luca who just turned four-years-old.

“It feels good. I’m excited to be back. I definitely missed interacting with the students and the teachers everyday,” Cremonese said.

Cremonese is a second teacher in the room in some Math, Science, and Social Studies classes. Students already appreciate her presence.

“What I like about Mrs. Cremonese is that she is very positive and helps us a lot,” sixth-grader Rylee Smith explained.

Cremonese spent most of her winter break at home with family.
