Cooperation key in some video games

Not all video games are violent and graphic. Some video games require teamwork, cooperation and communication. Overwatch is one of those games with a huge following.
“If your kid is interested in this kind of game, it’s a great starting point. There’s nothing bloody or graphic, it promotes team play, and it’s a very positive game overall, especially compared to others in the genre,” a parent of a 7-year-old player stated on the game’s website.
Teams of six players battle against one another with weapons, but compared to other such video games, there’s little graphic content. The game is animated. Sixth grader Gabe Cannici plays the game, but is careful with its chat feature.
“… it’s a team based game. You need cooperation. I have made over 30 friends because when you go to voice chat, there are people to talk to and to cooperate with,” Cannici stated.
Cannici said he’s cautious not to friend strangers. Sixth grader Paul Klele agreed.
“Who would want to be a friend with a stranger? Stranger danger,” Klele said.
As far as game action, Klele would like to see some improvements.
“I think the speed of the characters can be faster and more balanced,” he said.
