A change in season approaches
November 12, 2022
The days are getting shorter and the breeze feels a bit more crisp. Fall is just around the corner, and some students at Patrick M. Villano School are looking forward to the change in season.
“Fall to me means doing fun fall activities with my family and friends,” Meave Gagliardo said.
The sixth-grader said she likes playing in the leaves or going to fall festivals. Gagliardo also likes how Halloween, one of her favorite holidays, is in the fall.
“Fall to me is that there is basketball season, and it’s my birthday in October,” Ethan Shelton shared.
Shelton, a sixth-grader, said he also likes fall because of Halloween. He enjoys getting a lots of candy while trick-or-treating with friends around the neighborhood.
Sixth-grader Cristina Castro likes fall mostly for the weather. Castro said she loves the wind and breeze and how it’s not too cold or hot outside. She loves to go apple and pumpkin picking, then making desserts like apple pie, pumpkin pie, and apple cider. Castro also enjoys the Halloween time.
“I love watching scary movies with my family. My favorite one is IT,” she said.
Fall starts on November 22 and ends on December 21.
