Caitlin Quinn

Caitlin Quinn is the newest fourth grade teacher at Patrick M. Villano School. She teaches students all subjects.

Patrick M. Villano Elementary School welcomed a new fourth-grade teacher this year. Caitlin Quinn grew up in Park Ridge, New Jersey. She went to Ramapo College and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. After that, she earned a Master’s Degree in Education from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, Utah. Quinn was an aide at Park Ridge High School while she was completing her Master’s Degree. This is her first year teaching.

“My favorite part about being a teacher is that I get to work with my students and other coworkers. Being a teacher is something I always wanted to be, and I’m so happy I get to do it every single day! I want to make an impact on my students the same way my teachers did for me,” Quinn said.

Quinn’s favorite subject to teach is Reading because she loves to read in her free time, and she loves using different skills and strategies to help her students become better readers.

Juliette Rose Connolly is a fourth-grader who says she’s very happy in Quinn’s class.

“I like most that Ms. Quinn gives us so many chances if we do something wrong, and she is very forgiving, and she is very nice and is a very fun teacher!” Connolly exclaimed.

A favorite activity in class for Connolly is Writing.

It’s my favorite because the students, including me and my classmates, get to write about whatever we want as long as it’s school appropriate,” Connolly said.

WOULD YOU RATHER WITH MS. QUINN

Be able to fly or breathe underwater?
Be able to fly because I would never have to sit in traffic!

Wendy’s or Chick-fil-a?
Wendy’s! I love to dip my french fries in a chocolate frosty.

Spring or fall?
Spring is my favorite season because the flowers start to bloom and the weather is getting warmer!

Give up watching movies or TV shows for the rest of your life? Why?
I would rather give up movies because they are too long to watch!
