Students and teachers from Patrick M. Villano Elementary School are finding ways to keep busy indoors during their winter break. Safety concerns over the coronavirus are keeping some people inside during the holiday season.
“I will be spending time by learning how to bake a lot more with my family and trying to get better at drawing,” Ava Cuhadaryan, a fifth-grade student, said.
Whether it’s baking, crafting, or celebrating, teachers are also keeping busy indoors.
“I have been home, away from the public, so I can see my family for Christmas,” Wanda Lev said. Lev is the art teacher at the elementary schools in the district. “I also have been researching some new art projects for the New Year.
