Being in charge of a school can be tough work any day but during a pandemic is most challenging. Principal Jessica Espinoza is focused on keeping students and staff well at this time.
“I think the most challenging thing is following rules for safety,” she said.
Some safety protocols include washing hands after nose-blowing, standing on socially-distanced circles on hallway floors, and taking temperatures every morning.
“I think they are doing amazing,” Espinoza said of students following these precautions.
Despite the challenging time, Espinoza says she tries to keep a good mindset.
“Trying to find the positive things in every situation,” Espinoza said.
