Erin Albin is a new teacher this year at Patrick M. Villano School who shares her love of everything Disney with her students. Albin specializes in fifth and sixth grade Language Arts and Math in a classroom next to the art room. Her classes tend to be smaller with about six to eight students.
“I love teaching my students. We have a lot of fun things planned for the year. I look forward to doing all those fun things we are going to do,” Albin said. “I plan on doing hands-on activities and some outdoor activities to keep everything different.”
Skyyler Romaine, a fifth-grade student, says learning is fun.
“She is funny and kind. She lets us do fun activities. She is the best!” Romaine said.
Albin enjoys the atmosphere at school, and especially likes teaching two different grade levels.
“I like that everybody here is like a big family,” Albin explained. “I get to teach different things, and I get to meet different kids.”
Audrey Zatarain is a teacher who assists Ms. Albin.
“I think Ms. Albin is a wonderful teacher, and she works really hard and she cares about our students,” Zatarain said. “I think we make a pretty great team together.”
