New law bans animal testing for cosmetics in California

There’s a new law in California that makes animal testing illegial on all types of cosmetic products including makeup and deodorant. The law will go into effect in January 2020. Sixth-grade reporter Sierra Tofts wrote about this new law as part of a current events assignment in Social Studies class.
